Area Sales Manager

Join our team as an Area Sales Manager and lead our sales efforts in expanding our market presence, driving growth, and fostering strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and objectives within the designated area.
  2. Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their performance.
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, and expand market presence.
  4. Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify areas for growth and development.
  5. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop promotional strategies, product positioning, and pricing strategies.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Skills Required:

  1. Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
  4. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges.
  5. Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  6. Result-oriented mindset, with a proactive approach to achieving goals and driving success.
  7. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and relevant products would be an advantage.
  8. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  9. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  10. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated area as required.
